Riding a Dead Horse

Riding a Dead Horse
The tribal wisdom of the Dakota Indians, passed on from generation to generation, says that when you discover that you are riding a dead horse, the best strategy is to dismount.

In modern Church Ministries and Federal Governments, however, a whole range of far more advanced Continue reading

A Review, Not my Cup of Tea.

Review of the Omni hotel in Asheville N.C.

We stayed for free because of my wife work as a chef she had been invited to the 2017 food show. Traveling from the low midland of South Carolina to the hill country of the Appalachians. We had been amazed by the many high-quality photos online and therefore had expected much. Sadly we both felt the urge to leave in less than an hour after checking in. It was not our cup of tea. The Mosaic

A prophetic friend of mine from years back who has not publicly posted her prophetic words for many years. Has given me permission to post her first word in “I think” at least five years.

It called, “The Mosaic.”

Psalm 11:3 “When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do?”

Has any else noticed what going on?

In Captian America, Winter Soldier. He stands up against a hidden government (Hydra) within the government. Basically, he does the right thing even though it is not viewed well by the statist quo.

Then in Civil War. The well-intentioned Captain-America-Civil-War-2-Trailer-I-Could-Do-This-All-Daygovernment tries to put everyone on a list. Cap, who was born in 1920 I’m sure is seeing shades of Nazi Germany Continue reading

Star Trek Axanar

As a person who is a fan of Science Fiction and a Christian, my mind obviously ponders and considers things. If you are a regular reader of some of my earlier blogs, you will have most likely noticed that I sometimes look at things from a different angle. To give you an example, while writing my own Science Fiction stuff. I listen to an eclectic collection of civil war music, Christian rock and the Gaelic music of Moya Brennan.

I also watch and observer, culture and notice patterns. The 80’s and 90’s had a lot of subtle shifts. One of those shifts, is Hope itself.

I could pick several things to use an example. But due to recent events I think I will use the subject of Star Trek to illustrate my point. Continue reading

An Update from Earth & Sky.

Old Maps

Many years ago I ran a small website called, “Whatcom County Prophetic Page.” I did it mostly because I could see a pattern in the prophetic message about America and the Lords heart toward it.

The Prophetic Page kept an ongoing list of older prophetic words as a base foundation. Because at that time I was having a problem understanding the conflict between the two types of prophetic words I was seeing. One kind could only see the destruction that was coming. The other could only see the wondrous Glory. Continue reading

Surviving Ebola? My Thoughts.

Robert Foster

(My personal disclaimer)

I am not a doctor, nor is the person I have been learning this from. However, everything I am talking about can be found with a little research. So please consider doing a little of your own research.

While attending the MorningStar Harvest Fest gathering 2014. One of the many comments that came across was about how untrustworthy the information is nowadays in the media. That the information about Ebola is one of the best examples of bad information. This comment was the start of a thinking process that included the many news reports that came out that day. As well as all the places and people who might be affected.

One of the gentlemen I know and trust here has been talking to me a lot about the body and what kind of things it needs to stay healthy. A lot of what he has said to me makes total sense because of a prophetic word that another friend got years ago from the Lord.

“ I created the body to heal it’s self.” Continue reading

Castles and Cathedrals

Robert Foster

In my life, one of my favorite vacation spots is Moab Utah. Although I have never spent large amounts of time in Moab. I have all ways thought of that place with fondness. The Red stone cliffs, Canyons, Indian petroglyphs, and Arches National Park still hold my imagination as I ponder it’s past.

When I was young I clocked in many long hours holding a fishing pole watching the Colorado river wind its way around the jagged boulders in those canyon lands. There is something profoundly ancient about this place, longing to be discovered. Those extremely tall stone walls, stand silently, like the ruins of a long forgotten city in that sun baked land. James 1

James 1, Double Mindedness

By Robert Foster

An extremely important thing that I have tried over the years to communicate to people is the need to not only listen to the Holy Spirit but to make your decisions on what he says. I have watched a long line of people say the right thing, put effort forward only to change their direction based on outside factors. Many of these people have what I call a “seasonal” understanding of the prophetic.
