What will the Lord do?

img_2122-1

Unfortunately, we have had many decades now of a watered-down understanding of God. Many people try to divorce God’s Old Testament actions from Jesus New Testament actions. Now there can be many reasons for this like Bad teaching, Pollyanna attitude, denominational bias the list goes on and on.

Some people who lean very heavy on the Grace side of things go so far as to never acknowledge Jesus’s more “harder” saying or even read the book of Revelation. Thereby creating an unhealthy view of God himself. Part of this is bad teaching and part of it is the failure of the modern prophetic movement to add corrections as needed.

What have we become?

What have we become?

A continuation of last years post, “Whatcom County Prophetic”

About a year ago I did a blog post called the “Whatcom County Prophetic.” {Click here to read it} In it, I reflected on a trip my wife and I took back to the land we grew up in. In that article, I talked about the

general spiritual condition of the region as well as some insights I felt the Lord gave me. In it, I asked a simple question, “where were your prophets?”

This was in response to decades of attitudes towards people who had a touch of the Prophetic in there lives that the churches miss understood. People who if they had been encouraged and trained could have maybe changed the unfortunate course the county is now on. Continue reading

A Little Light

If you have ever read the back cover of one of my books you will notice that I describe myself as a person who likes good food. This is something I fully accredit or blame on my wife the Foodie. Because of her ability to taste the finer points of food, I now find myself noticing the quality of products more and more. The long-term effect of this is, of course as I grow older is the unwelcome extra pounds that are now part of my life.

My wife has now had the experience of being a professional chef. Her finely honed food skills over the last few years have cooked for groups well over 500 people at times. And trust me, my waistline has only benefited from Chef Kathy’s growing skills. Continue reading

Whatcom Co. Prophetic

Washington

Whatcom Co. Prophetic, R.A. Foster

Took a wonderful vacation this year. Drove across the United States visiting, taking pictures and generally enjoying life, that is except for unplanned $1600 repair bill in Casper for our exhaust system. Another story for another day.

A long time ago we lived in Washington state, in fact, we grew up in the state and watched many changes take place.

A little backstory first. Continue reading

The Mosaic

A prophetic friend of mine from years back who has not publicly posted her prophetic words for many years. Has given me permission to post her first word in “I think” at least five years.

It called, “The Mosaic.”

A Vision from 1961

A little background; Tommy Hicks an American evangelist, in 1952 he was given the permission to hold a salvation and healing campaigns in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Permission was given after healing President Peron of Argentina of an incurable, disfiguring skin disease.

1961 Tommy Hicks’ Vision of

THE BODY OF CHRIST AND THE END-TIME MINISTRIES

The following is a stunning vision given to American preacher Tommy Hicks (who was a major figure in the powerful 1954 Argentina Revival).

VISION OF THE BODY OF CHRIST AND THE END-TIME MINISTRIES
My message begins July 25, about 2:30 in the morning at Winnipeg, Canada. I had hardly fallen asleep when the vision and the revelation that God gave me came before me. The vision came three times, exactly in detail, the morning of July 25, 1961. I was so stirred and so moved by the revelation that this has changed my complete outlook upon the body of Christ, and upon the end-time ministries. Continue reading

A vision from July 4th. 1954

 Asa Alonzo Allen (A.A. Allen)

Born March 27, 1911 – Died June 11,1970

A part of the healing revival of the 1950’s and 1960’s as a dynamic, flamboyant tent evangelist, he became known for his ability to exorcise demonic spirits from the most difficult cases.

By A. A. Allen. – July 4, 1954.

As I stood atop the Empire State Building, I could see the Statue of Liberty, illuminating the gateway to the new world. Here, spread before me like an animated map, is an area sixty or eighty miles in diameter. I was amazed that the Spirit of the Lord should so move me, there atop the Empire State Building. Why should I feel such a surge of His Spirit and power there? Suddenly I heard the voice of the Lord. It was as clear and as distinct as a voice could be. It seemed to come from the very midst of the giant telescope. But when I looked at the telescope, I knew it hadn’t come from there, but directly from heaven. The voice said, “The eyes of the lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him. Herein you have done foolishly. Therefore, from henceforth, you shall have wars.” Immediately when I heard the voice of God, I knew this was a quotation of Scripture. But never before had a thing come to me so forcibly by the power of the Spirit. The ticking of the telescope stopped. The man before me had used up his dime’s worth. As he stepped away I knew that I was next. As I stepped to the telescope and dropped in my dime, immediately the ticking started again. This ticking was an automatic clock which would allow me to use the telescope for a definitely limited time only. Continue reading

A vision from 1929

ACValdez_small

A.C. Valdez1896-1980

This vision of A.C. Valdez was obviously written years later, after the actual event. A.C. Valdez, helped establish the Pentecostal Church of Australia during a two year period of time (1916) And was also present at the now historic Azusa Street outpouring of 1906..

**************

In 1929 I was preaching in Vancouver, British Columbia. I had gone to the 6th Avenue Church that seats 1,000 people. The old building is gone now. I sat down on the platform, and looked down on the congregation for the Sunday morning service. Continue reading

Fireroad in the Last Days

FireroadJust a little bit over fifteen years ago, a story started that I have slowly and carefully watched. For the most part, I have shared this story with only a few people. I have carefully observed, waiting to see if what I am looking at continues to unfold the way I think it might.

Now, once I start talking about this, someone, somewhere will at least start saying in the back of their mind, “where’s your evidence?”

So I will include a few links here and there, but not everything. Simply because I don’t want to overload you, the readers of this article. And I also assume if you want to know more, then you know how to do some research yourself. Continue reading

Wood Heat and the Prophetic

Firewood

Wood Heat and the Prophetic

By Robert Foster

Growing up our first wood heating system in Washington State was a fireplace. After several very cold winters, Dad removed the fireplace and bought a wood stove. I never really understood what took Dad so long to finally give up his fireplace. Now after moving to the South and seeing that fireplaces are everywhere I think I finally understand it was a part of his heritage in Arkansas. For myself, I can understand the draw of a fireplace, you see the fire and get the benefit of some of the warmth. However, I have also owned regular wood stoves and I have also owned modern wood cook stoves. I enjoy the look and feel of a fireplace, but love the heat and efficiency of a quality wood stove.
