Who are You?

Lemon Chicken

My wife Kathy spent several years working in a large kitchen for a ministry. Starting at the bottom cooking for the daycare she eventually moved up to assistant chief. Managing the entire kitchen, the team fed groups sometimes as large as 500+. It was Continue reading

Good and Bad Fruit

Good &Bad

A few years ago, maybe three or four I remember having a conversation with a few guys. In time the subject rolled around to exorcism (casting out demons) I listened for a while as they talked how it was a needed ministry, few were doing it and that this needs to dealt with in a very biblical manner because many of gotten off track with it.

Without even think about what I was about to say I opened my mouth and just said a thing or two without really pondering the outcome.

Me: “Well Continue reading

Crazy Stuff

Badroad

Crazy stuff.

As I get older, research and learn, I tend to see things from a different vantage point that causes me to reflect on so many things.

We have, as a society have been taught so many half-truths, lies and fairytale stories that have been presented to us as truth in the education systems. That I have come to really realize that some of the comments I heard in my teens and twenties from the old timers were very true. “We are all subjects of a massive social-cultural engineering project.”

When I was young Continue reading

Food for Thought, Update, July 2018

Screen Shot 2018-07-14 at 2.03.02 PM

Hello everyone, It’s been a long time since I did a general update. The last one I did was from Nov of 2015 where I talked about my old web page, Whatcom County Prophetic Page. In that, I mentioned I would be adding various old prophetic words from America’s past as well as my hope to get into writing various other types of articles.

Well, some of that panned out, some of it did not.

Like I mentioned at that time Continue reading

What will the Lord do?

img_2122-1

Unfortunately, we have had many decades now of a watered-down understanding of God. Many people try to divorce God’s Old Testament actions from Jesus New Testament actions. Now there can be many reasons for this like Bad teaching, Pollyanna attitude, denominational bias the list goes on and on.

Some people who lean very heavy on the Grace side of things go so far as to never acknowledge Jesus’s more “harder” saying or even read the book of Revelation. Thereby creating an unhealthy view of God himself. Part of this is bad teaching and part of it is the failure of the modern prophetic movement to add corrections as needed.

A good example happening today Continue reading

Good by to Goshen

How do you pick up the threads of an old life? How do you go on, when in your heart you begin to understand… there is no going back. Frodo Baggins; The Return of the King.

There is a lot of wisdom in what Tolkien wrote and I have thought of this comment many times over the last few years. It rings like a voice on the wind in the corners of my mind as I reflect on the fifteen year road I have taken that has brought me to this place.

Fifteen years ago my wife and I were raising dairy goats, had a garden around two acres in size. We got our years firewood from the forest and had a small prophetic ministry that later became a church. At that time, due to the spiritual climate of the area we lived. The Lord led me to join MorningStar’s Fellowship of Ministries. Continue reading

A Little Light

If you have ever read the back cover of one of my books you will notice that I describe myself as a person who likes good food. This is something I fully accredit or blame on my wife the Foodie. Because of her ability to taste the finer points of food, I now find myself noticing the quality of products more and more. The long-term effect of this is, of course as I grow older is the unwelcome extra pounds that are now part of my life.

My wife has now had the experience of being a professional chef. Her finely honed food skills over the last few years have cooked for groups well over 500 people at times. And trust me, my waistline has only benefited from Chef Kathy’s growing skills. Continue reading
